Shoes for Grades has been a cornerstone initiative of the Sports Boosters of Maryland for more than 12 years.
Through a partnership with Holabird Sports, Sports Boosters challenges students in various Baltimore, Howard and Carroll Counties as well as Baltimore City schools to raise their grade average a full letter. Students who rise to the challenge are rewarded with a gift certificate to Holabird to purchase shoes or equipment.
To-date, we have awarded more than 400 students with new shoes and equipment for their hard work.
